WOW normally I'm really warm blooded but tonight I got chilly and couldn't shake it, even after a hot bath. I called my daughter and she told me to make myself a cup of Snowman's Soup! I'd forgotten all about that> last time I had it was when my Daughters were in middle school But she says she makes it often for her sons.
SNOWMAN's SOUP
1 Coffee Mug filled 3/4 full of HOT water
1 individual pkg instant hot chocolate
a few minature marshmellows
a few chocolate chips
1 candy cane to stir
1/2 jigger Kahlua'(okay I used a full jigger)
SHHHH DON"T TELL ANYONE!!! (& NO the kids don't get kahlua'LOL)
Stir and Blend well with candy cane
Make sure it not too hot
Bottoms up and melt away the chill!

HMMMMMMMM NOT SO CHILLY NOW! [lala] [lala]

Chocolate liqour's very nice in it also [thumb] [grin]

And amaretto, and bourbon and coke, and good wine. Tonight though, while I watched my movie, I drank some of Anchor Brewery's holiday ale. It was good, reminded me of porter. I don't think that would have worked very well in Snowman's soup though.

Angel... when my husband and I lived in Reno, we would take a thermos of hot chocolate and Kahlua with us when we went cross country skiing up at Lake Tahoe. What a terrific treat we had while looking at the views of the lake from up there! [thumb]

Peppermint Schnapps is another great one to put in hot chocolate! [muggs]
