Thank you Thorny! My goodness..it says the Eastern Pondhawk sometimes captures Damselflies. Bad dragonfly! lol

Sarah thank you so much for the compliments! The praying mantis photos are my fav. too. I'm sad to say he met an untimely death. [tears] He was on our steps when hubby left for work the next morning. I didn't want to look! I think the cat must have *played* with him. He will live on in his sweet pictures tho. Can you tell I love all critters? lol

Here is another type of dragonfly, I shot this one at the pond behind our house.....they are very fast.
