Can't make it out...What are the lights highlighting in the middle? Did the lights scare the deer or other animals? I bet since they have never felt threatened by you, the lights didn't even affect them.

I like the second pic a lot too.....it does look like a starry sky......and Cindy is right....I'd leave it lit all year round with some clear lights.....

Actually, I just like sparkley bright lights. I AM a Scrooge and a Grinch!
Hummingbird House does have clear lights all year long, but I will probably leave the blue ones in place after the season as well.
The bright gold blobs of light are just that... hundred bulb blobs of light. They aren't highlighting anything... just hanging there.
There are 1600 lights twinkling out there this year.
