I'm overwintering basil and oregano, but i don't know how to!!

Any suggestions for caring for them over the winter in 6" pots?

I know one thing if your basil is anything like mine it will need a bigger than 6 inch pot. All my herbs are in 10 inch pots and for some of them it's already a tight fit.
