I've spent the last two weeks making a container flower garden for an elderly lady to enjoy on her patio. I've put up a trellis, an arbor and planted more flowers then I have ever seen before! It's all pink... with a few green accents. That's the way she wanted it so it's how I did it. I was standing under trees potting the flowers and last night I found a tick in my hair [scaredy] Is there a way to keep them off while I work? I hate ticks... please don't tell me they serve a purpose [Frown]

Please God, make me as good as my cat thinks I am!

well, besides using the standard bug sprays (cutters, off, etc) if you slather yourself with either scented baby oil or avon skin so soft, it helps. also, have a garlic laden meal the night before. that also helps.

Jiffymouse is right I do that when we go morel hunting, I also wear a hat with a wide brim. that helps alot to. We've had more than usual ticks at the cabin this year.
good luck.
