I am somewhat new at gardening. But, I have never planted elephant ears before. I bought 2 bulbs this year to try.
I had started a corner garden in my backyard. I put down weedblock and outlined it with stones. I put down some dirt and planted the ears on top of that and then put more dirt on top of them.
I planted them with the rounded area on top and the flat part on the bottom. The flat part looked like it had something growing out of it at one time. Nothing is happening.
Did I goof? Does it take a long time for them to come up? My other bulbs I planted are coming up but I had dug holes for them, cutting the weedblock. [wayey] [teacher] [Love]

Hello [wayey] Tinna,
Welcome to The Garden Helper's Forum!
We're very glad you found us!

I am not too sure of an answer for you,
but just wanted to let you know,
I was going to move your post into the
PLANTS AND FLOWER section...
I think you'll get a few more responses in there.
