upside down tomatoe plant

I am planning this weekend to try to plant the upside down one and got a question?I got the hold cut out was going to put extra holes for drainage but the picture I seen said just one hole so good enough but want to add some flowers to the top of it? got some viola would that work want either flowers or a herb that would not take over the tomatoe any other ideas on this? I vote for basil ! And marigolds !

I have marigolds nastruims& banana peppers with my big cherrys.I have one hole in bottom& have a hole on each side my hole is 1/2 inch so drains perfectly.I used a coffee filter over the hole so soil don't wash out.
basil, parsley, onions or chives are all good herbs to grow with them.purple basil would give it color& stay with shorter growing plants,but you can trim basil and keep it bushy.
I'll post later a current picture of mine.it even has a flower in bloom [Big Grin]

thank you plase let the idea keep coming like chives purple basil have to look for some seeds of them but they both would look good in top of pot!
