I still have alot of growing season left I think. So I was wondering is it worth the effort to even try to get some lettuce sown for the fall now. Or should I wait. Or am I just being silly thinking I am every going to get a lettuce crop this far south? Help Please!

I can't see why you shouldn't try. It won't cost you but a few seeds. I started my fall lettuce and radish crop two weeks ago in zone 6.
