I need info on avocado tree grown in a pot from
seed.It is about 14 inches tall now with 4 full grown leaves and three new leaves just coming out.
Do I need to prune it at this time? I want to grow it in a pot and will transplant in spring. Will appreciate any info.

Wow Ty! I'm sorry that I don't have any info for you, but I was wondering if, when you say "grown from seed", you mean the pit of an avocado? I've always been curious about that. Thank you! [wayey]

Ty, If your plant looks nice and is not spindly, why prune it. I would let it grow but prune to one main trunk per seed. When it gets taller and the trunk fills out you might want to pinch the top and this will make it bush out more.

Have a blessed day !
