We have well water that has a heavy concentration of iron and other minerals. We obviously filter the water before household use but I noticed the water from the hose is not. Should I be concerned about watering the plants with it?

Thanks!

I'm not sure about this, but I would think the well water would be good for the plants..I'll try to do some research for you on this though.... [Smile]

Did some looking around...it doesn't sound like the high iron and mineral concentration will harm your plants....I do know that adding lime to the soil will help neutralize it, so you might want to add some lime to your soil...It can't hurt..

Thanks for checking into it! My husband has some lime left over from the lawn that I'll confiscate. Thanks again.
