A few months ago I mentioned that I harvested some brussel sprouts in January. Then I noticed that the remainder of the plants had started growing again.

Well... today I saw that those sprouts that had been left on the plants look like they are going to flower! What's next? Will I get more plants growing out of these sprouts? [dunno] This is a whole new experience for me... [dunno]

If you let them flower and set seed and they are not hybrid brussel sprouts, you might get seedlings like the ones you planted.

Another update on the brussel sprouts that were left over from last summer. The flowers are growing out of the sprout areas.

Lynne, YES, Terry is correct, by all means "save" the seed if the variety WAS NOT HYBRID, and send your Ole buddy Phil some seed!! [grin] [grin]
