I have an overgrown Palm that needs a larger pot. Can I divide the plant and make it grow into two pots rather than keep on getting a larger pot for the one plant? I'd appreciate hearing from others on this. Thanks, Charlie [wayey]

Yes, you can split up the plant! You can also lose the plant doing so! The roots are probibly very intertwind and quite happy that way. Separating or cutting them will most likely be quite tramatic to the plant and could have undesirable effect. My advice is to pot it up if you think it really needs it but that dividing could cause more harm then good.
