I just picked up some dahlias at Home Depot. The package I bought was *1* bulb but there is a cluster with 2 nice-sized tubers and 5 or 6 small ones still attached to the clump.
Could I remove the two, let them dry and then plant the the clump with all the little ones????
I have never planted these before so I can't say, for sure, if each one has an "eye".
What do you think??

Dahlias usually come in clumps, with one or more larger tubers surrounded by smaller ones. If you detach the smaller ones, they will grow leaves but may not flower for a year or so. Unless the package said it contained more than one dahlia, I would plant everything you have as one dahlia.
