Bought a rosebush, but can't plant it yet

I bought a rosebush the other day from Menards. I know, I know...but it was only $2.88, and it looks really healthy. Has new canes starting to grow and everything. Anyway, I am in MI...should I plant ti now, and just cover it in case of frost, or wait a couple weeks? Right now it is in the typical bag type wrapping/packaging they come in. Leave it in that and keep it moist, or stick it in a bucket with a couple inches of water? Do I keep it in the house until I can plant? It is called Pink Peace, and is a hybrid Tea Rose.

Can you keep it in the garage, or someplace dark and cool?
You would be better off planting it than keeping it in the house where it's warm. I assume your ground is not frozen? If you plant it, mound lots of straw or leaves around it until it is safe.
