Arrrrrrrrg! [Mad]
I came home, and you know how all my plants are in the window? Well before my room mate left, he left the window open all weekend. My Black Magic Taro was sitting in front of the window, and i found it all drooped and spewing water out of every stem and leave [Frown] What happened was it froze in the window, and when it thawed out, its insides turned to liquid [Eek!]

Is there any way i can save it??? I love this plant, and they're so hard to come by up here in NH [tears] I got it as a gift from Supermike, so i'd love to get it back >.< I cut off the icky parts, so its just a tube sticking out of a bulb right now...

Thanks [tears]
~Phoebe

if it was watered...it protects the roots cause the ground would freeze slooowwwer [Smile]
what type pot?
how cold did ya get?
[scaredy]

I'd watch the pot and see if it sprouts...did ya peek in the soil?

well
around here it gets around 16 degrees at night at times >.o and i donno what it was like here in concord, cuz i went up to Plymouth to visit Lisa.

But ya, i was using a 2" plastic pot with a hole in the bottom, which i had sitting in a cup of water. you can see it if you go to my webshots and check my September album ^.^ it was just a wee one. I took it out of its lil pot, and the roots are white, and didn't seem to be rotting or anything. No bulb either. Just a buncha roots growing out of the plant. *thinks* will a bulb grow eventually if it lives? I put it in the cup with its soil, and no pot, and filled it up with water in case it lives. Was that the right thing to do?

Thank you!
