HELP [scaredy] And please excuse my lack of proper botanical words...and I'm probably worried about nothing but, this morning while tending to my "babies", I accidently broke the newest growing leaf from a "chain" off my Philo. This particualar limb/vine is the longest so far and is about one foot long. The Philo itself is growing and healthy with several new ones sprouting out on other limbs/vines. Only the one leaf was broken off, it had opened up only last week [tears] Will another leaf grow in it's place or have I "broken the chain" from that particular limb/vine?

All you did was prune your Philodendron sooner than you wanted. However, you only removed one leaf so no significant damage has been done. Like most vining plants, new growth will emerge just below where you broke off the stem. Don'r even think twice about it.
