does anyone know any effective ways to keep cats from eating plant leaves? is it harmful to the plants to spray something bad tasting on the leaves?

I used a spray that I bought at the local pet supply store called boundary. It seemed to have worked but it was hard to tell. My cat is picky over which plants she likes to bother. Any plant that dangles she goes for. My snake I sprayed a few times and she never bothered it. I don't know if she just didn't like the plant or if the spray worked. It does smell AWFUL. I have also used outside my bedroom windows because the neighbors cat tries to break in my house. You do have to spray every day since it only lasts for 24 hours. My plants didn't seem to be harmed in any way. Hope this helps!

Go to "Plant pests and problems" on the forum. Under the title "Neighbors Cats". There is a few things on there that might help you.
