Member # 9017 posted                    Mark, I did start pear tomatoes from seed last year, I was so proud of myself! Sowed them directly in the garden & up they popped! I have extra pepper seeds if ya need 'em! So I might try to do beefsteak tomatoes or something, I just love buying them already started. Member # 9017 posted                    we are gonna have a garden out on the farm my dad works at this year, the bossman already ok'd it! I can't have a garden in the backyard because the dogs jump the fence we built solely for the garden! My dad's boss is super nice & he already plawed the ground for us so we can get the turnips & radishes in the ground. That stinks that the dog jumps it... my grandmothers dog [my grandmother lives across the street from me, I do most gardening there] jumps my fence... my uncle promised me a tall fence with a gate this summer, though!
