Hi everyone! My name is Laurel, and I live in Ontario. I've been married almost 32 years and have 1 daughter and 2 grandsons. I love my backyard. It's my haven. I started out with raised beds, graduated to lasagna gardening and then square foot gardening. I have a large, bordered, mulched area with lots of ornamental grasses and spireas, bird feeders, baths, etc. I sit in my Sky chair every summer evening, with my husband, Dave, and a glass of wine, just taking it all in. It's so peaceful and wonderful. Lord, but I can hardly wait for spring!

Hi, Laurel! [wavey]
My yard is my haven, too!

I swear, you sound just like me...except I don't have a husband named Dave! [Big Grin]

Welcome to the forum!
