Wow, Diane, those are beautiful. I wish I could overwinter Verbena here, but mine never seem to make it , even though we're now supposed to be in zone 6.

My Crocus are finally blooming , but, so far, only the yellow ones have shown their faces. I haven't seen any of the white or purple ones yet.
Okay, it took a little while, but I managed to get on Photobucket so here is a picture of some of my my yellow Crocus.
I've been moving some of my bulb plants today because I've found many of my Tulips, Daffodils, Mini-Daffodils and Narcissus are coming up in places where I haven't planted them . My squirrels like to dig up my bulbs and replant them in other places . They never seem to bother my Hyacinth bulbs, but I guess they're too big to handle.

Carly & Penny, you should be seeing something coming up pretty soon. It seems one day there's nothing but some green leaves and then the next day you have color. What a GREAT feeling it is!

Weezie, I have tulips popping out of the ground, too. I thought I had moved them all to my bulb bed, but I have them out in the original tulip bed and beside my front steps...

I have been checking my bulb bed every day to find out if another treasure has popped up overnight. I planted so much out there, that I can't remember what is in there. I am afraid to weed right now because I am afraid I will be pulling up a flower!

I have always called it wish weed. I remember as a girl picking them and blowing them to make a wish. Didn't know until I was older that that was how the weeds spread...

Michael, although I have some Iris that get pretty tall, I don't believe any of mine have ever come close to reaching 40". I'll be anxious to see more flower pictures because we are getting snow flurries again today. This may be the only place I will be seeing any flowers for now.

Well yesterday it opened! On the first day of spring! Sadly it was an ugly day. It was very cloudy and we had thunderstorms by nightfall... Today, wasn't any better, but sunny. It was very windy today! So sorry for the bad bad photos! I tried my best to make them the best!
I took those photos today. Not the best! First one! Out of many that will be coming!! They look like they will be blooming all at once!

It's so nice to see everyone's outdoor blooms! We are still completely covered with snow from last Friday's storm, but the warmer weather is slowly getting here - it's 50 degrees out there right now.
Here is my first geranium bloom on an overwintered plant. This was a 99 cent seed geranium bought 2 years ago.

Wow, beautiful Geranium, Lynne! What a gorgeous shade of pink! It's still going to be quite a while before any of my geraniumns are blooming.
