hello all...new to this so bear with me please. I have (had) a lovely avocado tree I planted from an unusually large seed. It is about a foot tall. I had to move it from a south window to a west window. It has now drooped and the top leaves have dried up and shriveled.... I do not have another south window for a month or 2. What can I do to save it? The best I have is an eastern window. Also.........What should I do to my hosta bed to insure healthy plants in the spring?

Louise...I know nothing about avocado trees...but a hostess will probably move this into the PLANT forum where someone who knows the answer will see it.

Welcome to the forum. I had great success with my hostas in Nebraska and did nothing with them. We had snow and very cold temps in the winter, and they just seemed to thrive!
