I am from VA (zone 7) and just found y'all. I seem to be going in circles right now. I hope I am in the right area.
I hope to learn plenty form y'all. I have been fortunate to love gardening all my life. I've been a country girl most of the time...a few cities here and there. Love all aspects of gardening/nature/animals.
Hope to make good friends here.

Hello there Wild Woman, Triss, princessazlea, and Dixie Angel!! Y'all are so very sweet to come out and greet me. I fell more at home now.
I have been tending to a sick cat this a.m. And a storm with tons of lightening rolled through last night and hit us...so I had some electrical panel problems to deal with bright and early this morning(2 a.m.).
I hope to learn plenty from y'all! I love all aspects of gardening...so I will stay busy here, I'm sure.
Thank you again for extending yourselves...and Happy 2006!!

I'm back on and will take a look in the Pet thread. I think he may have an abscess...the side of his head looks puffy. I have an appointment for him in the morning.
The heat pump was my problem last night! This type of thing always happens when hubbie is out of town
Anyway...I'm off to check things out.
Take care all... VAgardengirl

Bless your bones for asking,ChristinaC! He is much better. His name is Punkie (DH gave him that name 'cause he nearly tore hubbie's arm off in a rescue situation). He is now on the mend from an abscess. Not pleasant at all.
I have noticed how wonderful the folks are here. This is a wonderful site..people and information!
I'll check in on the two of you!! Take care Bye for now, VAgardengirl
