I would like to introduce myself. My name is Sandie and I live in West Monroe, LA. Years ago I raised African Violets and now I want to get back into it. I also have several houseplants that I am learning about.

When I am not gardening, I raise and show Basset Hounds.

I have already found a mountain of help on this site, it is wonderful.

Hi there Sandie, and welcome to the Forum! You are just in time. Head on down to House Plants. Our resident AV Queen has started a topic about starting AV's from leaves and has managed to addict a lot of us to growing them. Check out the link in my signature line to see some of her plants.
