I'm making a wall hanging for the diretor at the daycare. She loves tea, so its going to have a teapot in the middle and then teacups around the teapot. The name of the quilt will be something like "Life is Like a Teapot". But I need some ideas. ....or maybe a saying that would complete the title that I can write on the quilt label. Any ideas???

There is no trouble so great or grave that cannot be much diminished by a nice cup of tea. ~Bernard-Paul Heroux
Remember the tea kettle - it is always up to its neck in hot water, yet it still sings! ~Author Unknown
Drink your tea slowly and reverently, as if it is the axis on which the world earth revolves - slowly, evenly, without rushing toward the future. ~Thich Nat Hahn
It sounds like it's gonna be really cute and I can't wait to see a picture of it

Yeh..it's REAL expensive Jenn! Lisa made a baby blankie for goatbaby, she wanted it to be his "security" blankie. Then we got him a minkee fabric blankie (already made) Guess what his favorite is...you got it.. ..he drags it around everywhere....
I thought that was pretty funny that little song was the FIRST thing that popped in my head...
now I'm gonna be stuck with it there ALL day!!!

I'm not sure which one I like the most. I can put as much or as litle as I want to on the label...I just have to cut it the right size. I've been thinking about it while I'm working on the baby blanket....which is almost done, by the way. The top is complete, I just have to put the backing on it and then sew in the "ditch"....not going to hand quilt this one. I'm not sure if I can actually hand quilt over the Minkee.....I'll tell you, its a booger to sew!! I'll post a picture of the baby blanket tonight.

OK, the baby blanket is done and we've eaten dinner...now I'm readu to start the wall hanging. My director is a very busy woman....and gets frazzled very easily. We have state inspection coming up next month and its her first one as a director of the facility, so she's really stressing about it. So, the quote that I will end up using will have something to do with relaxing....I'm going to have to read through all of these before I choose one.

I think it was Nancy Reagan who said something like, "Women are like tea bags - you never know how strong they really are 'til you put them in hot water"
I always liked that
