I wrote this poem way back in 1990 when owning a home was not financially feasible. Sandra and I finally bought our first home this year - of course, hanging on the front porch is a sign that reads "Rainbow's End"
One day I will return to where memories make my heart yearn Buy a few acres of land A place to make my final stand
Have a house to call home settle down, no more to roam Plant a garden to tinker around Good things coming from the ground
I've even got the name in my head the perfect title for my homestead I see the sign and it makes me grin Coming home to rest at "Rainbow's End"

Aww, that is so nice, and I'm glad that you finally got your "Rainbows End"!
I like when people name their houses with signs. My family moved here from England and the year we moved in Dad made a sign that says "Little England". It's still hanging on their porch!
