Hi, I found this site looking for childrens gardening sites for someone else. I saw the forum and found it interesting. I live in NH on the VT border so I'm right on the Connecticut River. I've lived in this region for a few years and have been working on finding plants that I enjoy and that will also do well in this part of the country. (its a lot different gardening in Texas)

Thanks Francine. I put down growing zone 4 or was it 5 not sure how far north Laval is in Quebec but I'm sure its colder. Maybe you will be able to suggest some of the tougher plants. Quebec is just up 91!
