Just dropping by to say Hi and introduce myself to ya'all. I live in Zone 5a, in Northern Michigan. I am also an Advanced Master Gardener. I have been gardening now for 12 years now. I love perennial gardening and roses and I am also a seed saver. I harvest all of my own seed from my plants each year. I would love to share them with you either with an exchange or SASE.
I am very active in my local garden club and also in the Master Gardeners Association here in the town I live in. I live on 200 acres in the country, but most of it is woodland. We have a major state river that runs through our property for about a mile along with a few ponds. I have two German Shephard dogs so that pretty much keeps the White Tail deer from eating my flowers.
I am also fortunate to have a greenhouse which was built by my son in law as a gift to me.
I am looking forward to meeting and making new garden friends here and offering my help if I can. I would also like to ask for some help on Roses. I am planning on putting a trellis up in my perennial garden and am looking for some fast growing climbers.

bbbbbbbbb Taking a small chance may be the biggest leap you'll ever take, it may be the biggest mistake you'll ever make. But every leap and every mistake is worth the experience of chance.

Thank you all for the warm welcome....but just to let you know that being a Master Gardener is not the end all....its really a learning process every day and belonging to a garden forum like this and others like it, is very educational. I look forward to learning a thing or two from you'all.....
You said a mouthful, it's a real learning process from day to day, from season to season, from gardener to gardener, and from state to state..
It is so much fun learning all the different gardening techniques, likes and dislikes, things that can be done and things that can be stretched to the limit...
We're very glad to have you, we've got lot's to keep you busy in every season, **especially so in those long, cold, snowy, blowy winters...** Check out all the sections, there's lot's to do, Recipes, Games, Crafts, Banter Hall for chatting and getting to know the other members...
Jump right on in.....
