hey palies [wavey]

my girl Nikki needs some help for school.

What are the different colors that occur naturally in the poinsettia? Name the rarest natural color.

[dunno] I'm clueless.

While the standard three- to six-bloom red poinsettia is the most popular, there are several other sizes, shapes and colors available.

Colors can range from creamy white to shades of pink and orange to the traditional red. Also available are marbled bracts of pink and white as well as pink flecks on red. Poinsettias can be purchased in miniature sizes, trees, hanging baskets and even as fresh cut flowers.

The true Poinsettia (Euphorbia pulcherrima) is a 12 foot shrub which has the familiar flame red bracts but over time cultivars evolved with pink or white bracts (white being the rarer color). All the new colors are hybrids of different combinations of those 3 colors.
