If you have a Capital One Credit Card you need to know that they do not send out e-mail notices. I received one today perportedly from them saying that my card had been deactivated due to some possible fraudulent charges. The website addy didn't look right so I called the company. Capital One confirmed that they do not send out e-mail notifications of that kind.
So if you get one like that do not respond to it or use the link!!!

Boy Capital One sure has been flooding my snail mail box....The compost pile loves all the envelopes they send LOL.
A person should never respond to an email that has to do with a credit card, pay pal or bank account...If you feel it is for real don't click the link in the email..instead go to their web site and log into your account to see if they really did contact you.

I've gotten a lot of emails from "PayPal"... ...not at the email address that I have my PayPal account under. Wanting to confirm my info because of fraud stuff... Yeah...RIGHT!
Delete, delete, delete.....

hehe....what do you do with all of your junk snail mails??? Like the ones all of those credit cards send to you? I put all of their crap into the postage paid envelope and send it back to them. I've even started sending one credit card company another one's stuff...like last week, capital one got stuff from chase. We started doing that last year and we get ALOT less crap in the mail now.

Great idea. I have a worm farm and boy are those buggers hungry. And we have two wood burners and the junk mail makes great kindling. But any leftovers may go back to them. ~Tina

That is a great idea Jenn. I get mail from Capital One addressed to my ex husband at my current address and he's never lived in this house. I'm going to start using the addressed envelope to return it to them.
