Eeeeek! I shouldn't be laughing - is no funny, those wasps.
I got stung a few weeks ago by something - a wasp, a bee . . . I was running my hand along the library railing as I walked down the ramp and caught something on my hand - it felt like paint thinner.
I stood there cursing like a son of a gun.
I had a swollen thumb and finger but it didn't last long.

Just a helpful hint here on stings...This works for wasp, bee, yellow jackets etc. As soon as you get stung, wet the area and then apply a large amount of "Adolph meat tenderizer" to the area...It has an ingredient that neutralizes the poison and lessens the pain and stops the swelling instantly. I don't use this on meat, but keep a bottle in the medicine cabinet where it can be found easily. A women who was visiting us got stung by a red wasp and she was allergy to them, this stopped her allergy reaction saving a quick trip to the ER...It is amazing. Very important also if you have little ones around, so you can give them fast relief!
