Well about the closest I got to the garden today was pruning the portulaca that I am trying to over winter lol. It is enough that I don't get garden withdrawals but it's not really the same.

I am having garden withdrawals myself...My bronchitis is all the sudden worse and being out in the wind or cold doesn't help right now. After doing the chores that I have to: feeding 9 outside cats and 22 chickens and taking out the dogs and bringing them back in every morning I am beat, I want to go back out to do some work, just not up to it I guess.

comfrey make a hot lemon tea and drink it as hot as you can that helps my bronchitis a lot also slows down the hacking cough. I also put red applwine venigar in mine. Helps with the arthitis as well as digestion.

When my daughter was showing sympthoms of asthma or bronchitis I would put euccalpytus in a pot of water and slow boil it to get steam vapors and have her breath in it seemed to help open her up to get deeper breaths [Smile]

I was so grateful for yesterdays weather Nice enough to finish bagging leaves for compost later, putting mulch on roses , and a few other finishing touches outside ,, It's Does indeed look like winter is trying to Come to Texas! [scaredy]

Jimmy where do you get red applewine vinegar???? I don't have the coughing problem..just not able to breath, and having a small amount of wheezing again, which inhalers aren't helping now, so another trip back to the Doctor I suppose..sigh Come on Spring!!!

I finally got my bulbs and roses fertilized except for a few clumps of bulbs that I hadn't gotten the leaves off of yet. Yesterday, I finished covering my figs for the winter. and got some more leaves mowed and bagged. I'm finally beginning to see the end of the tunnel.

Wow I could never do what you do. But hopefully I will get the leaves raked up here in the next day or two. How much land do you have? If you don't mind my asking. It seems like it must be a lot with the fruit trees and all.
