I like to make up these small bags and give them to the youngest children in our crowd in the days immediately before Christmas.
Using the corner of a baggie, put one heaping tablespoon of Cheerios and one large pinch of glitter. Shape baggie into a fat bundle and tie with curling ribbon. Put in basket with the other 9 million you have made and take along to your favorite crowd of little ones.
Explain that it is Special Reindeer Feed that they should sprinkle in the yard before they go to bed on Christmas Eve. The glittery stuff will catch the starlight and sparkle for the Reindeer flying overhead, so the Reindeer will know here is a house with a child who believes. When they land, they will be happy to eat the Special Feed that helps them fly.
And, if you are the parent of an observant little one, please remember to go back outside before morning to kick that Feed around some. Anybody got any directions for Reindeer Shoes??!

A Case Of Glitter? I'd love to own a case of glitter!
In Cincinnati, I used to shop at a craft store that sold glitter in bulk instead of in those stupid tiny little bottles. Do you know how much a pound of glitter can be? And what a happy mess it can make?
