What color(s) are the walls in your house? [dunno]

And, if they are different from room to room, do they 'go' together, and did you choose colors to make it that way?

I'm down to the final two rooms in the new house, both are bedrooms...and I'm kind of stuck, so I thought I could pick your brains about it... [thumb]

In the office I believe the color is called Lyndhurst Gothic Tan. I went downstairs and looked at the can for you. I believe that Lyndhurst is the "brand" of color??? Not sure. I do know that it is a remake of an old color. Its kind of a tan color with a softer shade to it tho...I might have a picture somewhere...let me look.

Oh....haha...everything else is white except for the room that we were painting for the nursery. Its an "under the sea" theme...I might have a picture of that also.

This is the color in the office. I don't know how to make the photo larger without it being massive.

 -

This is the other room. At this point, I don't know what to call this room. It was the nursery, now its the spare bedroom or "other room". But, you can kind of see where I'm going with that room. The paint for the "sand" is actually textured with teeny tiny pieces of granite that make it feel like actual sand! I wouldn't do that to a whole room tho.....$30/gallon!!!

WOW!!!

Awesome job on the 'under the sea' themed room!! [thumb]

Have you seen a pic of our rubber duckie bathroom?? [Roll Eyes] Everyone who sees it asks if we have children. I tell them 'yeah, one big one, and I married him!' [Big Grin] Of all the things to pick, why oh why???? [grin]

no! I've never seen a picture of it!

The under the sea room picture was taken a few months ago. Since then, I've decoupaged fishies onto the walls and done a rubber stamped border around the top of the room in glow in the dark paint. [Smile] I LOVE glow in the dark anything!!! When the time comes, we will cut fish shapes out of MDF and then prime it and then let our family and friends each paint their own fish that I will put onto the wall then. That way everyone can help decorate the room.

ANYWAYS....the next room we paint will be a maroonish color. The color will be taken from the border that goes around the room.

ooohhhh!!!! That's a FUN room!!! I like it! When we finally build the house that we're designing, I want to do a themed bathroom for the bathroom that will be between the two kids' rooms. I was thinking of a rubber duckie theme, but I haven't totally decided on anything yet.

The rubber ducks are actually very fun, and happy, and there are so many colors to work with while decorating. I used the yellow, white, and two shades of blue on the walls, and then dark blue, yellow, and duck bill orange towels...

I just found rubber duckie no-slip things that are suppose to go on the bottom of the tub, but I put them around the outside edge of the tub, instead...they are really cute. My Hubby loves them! [Big Grin]

I have really tried to keep the ducks contained to the bathroom, but he found a rubber duck with a fire helmet, and now it sits on the dash of our truck! Win some, lose some, right??? [Roll Eyes]
