I found your wonderful sight some time ago and I've been taking a little bit of time every so often to check all the rules and all the different rooms out. But being a rank beginner to these forums, I have a question I hadn't seen addressed, unless I'm not looking in the proper place, which is entirely possible. When I clicked on The Hostess Lounge room, I got a message that said You do not have permission to enter this forum. And I was wondering what the guidelines are for that.

LadyAlia, We have 4 wonderful hostesses who monitor the forum. They fix problems, usually before we even know there WAS a problem (posts in the wrong place, unruly member, etc., etc., etc...) They keep this site running smoothly.
The Hostess Lounge is where they go to discuss the problems among themselves and solve them!

And pretty much what Cindy said is right on target... I don't think I could have added much more to her reply...
We just keep track of stuff in there, when someone's posted something and we can't remember where to find it or a word to type in for a FORUM SEARCH, *which Karen is a big help on that.) and all sorts of stuff... moving posts to right places and sending out questions to each other like, "Did you see what Cindy wrote today???" Just kidding Cindy !!! We need a place to yak and post questions to each other when we might not all be in on the same time, so we converse with each other during the course of the day when we come in... And yes, we keep the place running smoothly and help Bill out when ever we can, because we just love the heck out of him and this site so much.... Oh, we beat him up in there too every so often... Somebody's gotta do it and we're just the girls to do it!!!

and cindy, no gremlins or pictures...
but honestly, we also work on trying to solve the sorting of new ideas, just gossip about/with each other, and double check with each other to make sure that what we are posting is accurate (some of us - uh hm, catlover) have better memories than others)!
