I log in when I get here everyday yet at the bottom of the page where it shows who is here it almost always shows me as a guess (as in anonymous). Why is that??

I'm not Bill but I will try and answer your question...if it isn't right Bill will set me straight.
Your name will not appear at the bottom of the page until you have posted something. I see your name now so you are not anonymous.
If you DO want to be anonymous (appear as guest) you can go to your PM box and click on either edit profile or edit preferences...(the latter it will take you to the same area but just lower on the page) click on Hide from recent visitors....then you will appear as a guest. To reverse that just go back in and click it again and you will be visible!

Karen was very close... To lighten the server load, the program is set so that it only updates the visitor count every few minutes. If you log on right after one of the count updates, you won't show as being online until the next time the system re-sets...
