I'm here because I have accidently overwatered a Gloxinia that I recieved from a family members funeral and I'd like to try and save it. Could someone please tell me what to do? I've poured off the excess water and have it under a flourescent light but it's wilting fast.
Thank you for your help.

Hello Candace, Welcome to The Garden Helper's Forum!! We are very glad you found us!!!
Sometimes we move posts into their appropriate sections, but I would suggest to leave your greetings here **For others to come thru and welcome you too** and how/why you found us..... but why don't you go and post your question about your Gloxina question in the HOUSE PLANT SECTION..... we have alot of house plant gardeners/members that frequent that area a little bit more and will be able to help you (if they can help in time...) And don't forget to take a peak around the site a bit, we've got alot of sections to keep you busy, especially during the long cold winters here in the North East!!! Lot's to do, like Crafts and Hobbies, Recipes, and a Game Room...And don't forget about Banter Hall, our area for chatting and getting to know everyone!!

So glad you joined the forum. I grew up in Bucks County, PA, although I've lived much farther north for many years now. PA is one of the loveliest states in the nation and you are fortunate to live and garden there.
Hope to hear more of your plant growing adventures and doings soon.

Yes, you can do pictures here. And geez, do we like to see pictures! One forum member just posted some photos of hideous spiders she'd found in her backyard, the sight of which had me screaming and running down the street, offering to help her find a new spider-free home. Yipes.
But also, other forum members post pictures to help answer questions that have arisen, or to show off the result of a good effort. And of course, speaking of good efforts, we also got a photo of baby Charles, born last Friday!
Glad you are on the forum.
