This is such a wonderful site. Thank you for the warm welcome. I'm a retired flower designer, and I've been gardening since I was old enough to hoe weeds in my parents garden. I love the sight of rows of full canning jars after a good harvest, and I'm always looking for new canning recipes. This year I did a lot of hot peppers. I live in Northwest Pennsylvania, and love the changing seasons with the exception of winter. I finally got my dalhia, and canna tubers dug, but I lost a lot of them because of the wet summer. I hope I can be as helpful to all you other gardeners as you've been to me. Thanks bunches. Happy gardening, Donah
