Those are Hens and Chicks! I've had them forever. They're a perennial, low maintenence, propogate, like partial sun. They're cool little guys. I bought (well, my mother)5 them at a yard sale 10 years ago, and I have about 35 of them in a pot. [flower]

I love the sweet scents wafting in the breeze. I stop to admire the vibrant colors of all living things. And people think me odd. Then ODD I am!!!

They're worth getting - you only need a couple of small pots of them, then watch the family grow.

My grandmother has some of those but the little ones are hanging over the edges of the pot. I love it and she won't let me have it!!! [tears] Maybe now that I know what it is (she's been bugging me to ask ya'll) she will either let me have hers or go buy me one.

I have a couple of varieties of them growing near the waterfall of my little pond. This year one of them flowered, very cool indeed! It put off a small stalk that looked nothing like the rest of the plant and it burst forth with almost a dozen little pink flowers. The flowers were star shaped and had very pointy petals. Small, but nice.

Do you still have your childhood toys? I pay CA$H for older Hot Wheels from the '60-'70's.
