To keep from hi-jacking Rita's Spring seed-starting topic, I decided to post here...

I am looking for plants that contain the name "Helen" in them. I am planning a memorial garden for my mother this Spring and it will have a "Helen" theme.

Wrennie sent me the link for Helenium, aka "Helen's flower". Are there any more Helen's out there?

Thank you all for your suggestions...

Dianna

Thank you, again, Wrennie! I googled both suggestions and they are so pretty...

Alan, thank you for the rose link. My mother's favorite flower was a yellow rose...

Stephanie, the idea for a memorial garden has been playing in my head since the day of her death. I am just slow bringing it to fruition because I want it just right. The idea for placing flowers with her name came from right here at the Garden Helper from our members...

Thank you all for your suggestions and comments. I can't wait to start digging in the dirt. I have lots of cardboard in the building just waiting for me to get started...

Anyone else have any suggestions?

Dianna
