i have an angel trumpet plant growing indoors i would like to know when should i plant them in the ground and do i have to cut them back when the cold hits again ????????

You should wait until spring to plant it outdoors. I'm in zone 6b/7a and I have to cut mine back to the ground in winter and mulch well and it regrows from the roots. If you are in a warmer zone, you may not have to cut it back so much...leave it be until spring and cut off the dead parts.

thanx but how can i tell what zone i am in
it usually doesn't get too cold here

Do a google search for plant hardiness zones or go up to the top of this page and click on "USDA Zones". I believe Better Homes and Gardens has a site where you enter your state and it will give you a map of zones by county
