I'm not sure either but from the picture, it kinda looks likes individual garlic cloves by the roots. The leaves themselves would also have the scent of garlic if that's what it is.

That looks like Dafodils to me. I just transplanted a whole bunch of them. Yep. Dafodils, I think.

I'll try today for ya. I planted them but there are so many I can try to pull one up and I won't miss it if it goes in shock. Mine are grown though but we should be able to compare anyways.

Here is one. The bulb is producing another plant, but it's no difference really. I tried to get a pic of tips of the plant's leaves, but the wind blew and I missed, eveidently! It is the season for dafodils!
