I saw a screen-saver picture (which I don't have) of a plant with round, oval shaped pods on it which were covered with stickers or hairs. Sorry about this named but it was called Devil's Balls. I have searched everywhere on the net to find out what its real name is (that surely couldn't be it!) but have had no luck. That is even the only picture I can find. Has anyone heard of this or seen a plant which looks like this?

Hmmm...could it possibly be Love in a Mist? The seed pods look a little like what you are describing. Or maybe a Datura seed pod?

Thank you for so many replies!

Mecon6, you are a funny guy, and I'm sure you are a guy. Check out the picture in alankhart's reply and tell me if it really is familiar.(I would put a laughing emoticon here but can't find out how.)I love your reply to me. I laugh every time I look at it. Thanks (Shirley)

Alankhart and Roflol, you both sent pictures of Datura seed pods, and they look very much like the picture I saw. I am going to try to find the one I saw and try to post the link later (if I can learn how.)

Thank you all again.

Mecon6, I hope I can come up with some other questions just so I can get a reply from you.

I love the sweet scents wafting in the breeze. I stop to admire the vibrant colors of all living things. And people think me odd. Then ODD I am!!!
