Do they also call that snow in the mountains? My sister-in-law has something that looks like that and she calls it snow in the mountains.bbbbbbbbb All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.

yup, that's lamium...pink something or other. i just planted some. needs partial shade and YES it does spread well and quickly it also comes in white-flower version. i think that one may be called snow in the mountain.

I have some of that and they called it "Dead Nettle" at the nursery. Maybe that is a common name. Suebbbbbbbbb What goes around comes around, so be nice!lol

yes, dead nettle is the common name. lamium maculatum is the latin. the variety i got is pink chablis.

I know it doesn't like the heat here...everytime I put it outside, it wilts down and pieces of it die, but when I bring it inside, it perks right back up...I think I'll keep it inside for now.bbbbbbbbb Bote and Babe's World

no, it doesn't do too well in extreme heat...we've been in a heat wave (temps over 95) and mine is really wilty looking... tonya, when you put it outside, are you putting it in a kind of shady spot? they don't do well in full sun (regardless of the temp factor).
