Number Four I like the leaves on this one. It had one pretty Purple flower on it a couple of weeks ago. This is the neighbors, They just planted it. I dont think the leaves are supposed to be drooping like this. Too much sun or maybe planted to low in the ground? They don't even know what it is and they just bought it. Like I said I like the leaves I might get one myself or make a cutting or something.

And Number Five is some kind of tree. It had interesting leaves so I snapped a few photos.

All of these plants are found in the Panhandle of Florida in the Pensacola area. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks [Smile] ThomasT

#4 is Mexican Petunias. There is also a pink variety. I have both colors in my yard [thumb]

#5 is a soapberry tree(Sapindus Drumandii). A good shade tree that turns yellow then red in the winter.

no, i'm sorry, that's not a soapberry tree - the leaves of the soapberry are completely different. and the same for mexican petunia - the leaves are nothing like what she's got.

The tree looks like a young birch and the plant looks like it was stuck in the ground way too deep! Also, were the dead old wood from last years plant left on it????? That seems strange to me that they would have purchased it like that.
