I can't remember which clematis this is. the younger blooms have a slight purple tinge to the petals

My friends Mary, from another garden forum (yes Bill another forum! LOL)saved these miniature iris from a neighbor. They are really a darker purple than the picture looks.

it might be the henryi clematis the flowers look a little different tho...closest match i could come up with.

i had those same iris - they're absolutely lovely - since they're a mini type, they fill in those empty spots well! sorry, don't know the name of them...even the guy at the nursery didn't know.

it does look more like miss bateman. i don't see any green on the petals in wrennie's pic, tho.
