It might be Periwinkle (Vinca major variegatus), but I'm not real sure because the leaves look a little different. (It's hard to tell with the color variegation, if the edges of your leaves are serrated or not. [dunno] If they are, it may not be the same plant.)

Do you know if yours flowers?

The edges are slightly serrated and I haven't seen it flower. Thanks for the guess. [Smile]

That is varigated goutweed. It will spread quickly and can be evasive so you may want to wait before buying any more.

Netty's got it right on the nails' head..
and INVASIVE is the correct word too...
It is my personal nemisis, and the bane of my existance..

But being a weed lover, I do have to give it some credit..
If you want a bank or steep hill held in place, this is your plant, will fill in and never let go..
It does brighten up a shady spot..
It does have a pretty white Queen~Anne's~Lace flower and beneficial bees do like it..

But I have been tryin' for 12 years to get rid of what I have.. and haven't completely...
**although, the woodchucks I have seem to love it**

AKA Snow on the Mountain, when it's this variegated variety. And Weezie - remember my solid goutweed? I'm still pulling the cursed stuff out, even though we turned over every inch of soil and pulled roots for HOURS!!

Yep, that's why I said the bank holding back abilities...
that plant doesn't give up for nothing....

Bless it's little heart for what GOD intended that weed to do...
people put it in the wrong place and it gets a bad rap...
So, as much as it's my nemisis... it's a two thumbs up for erosion control...
(and I shouldn't say people, cause it's sold by nurseries, and the people who are buying it aren't given the FULL STORY of the plant, and that's where it gets messy)

The spot where it is growing is shady, and I like the way it looks, but it is only growing half way along my house. The other half is just dirt [dunno]
This is my 3rd summer in my house, so I'm sure its not going to spread anymore. So... I'm going to go to the nursery to buy a weed? Actually yesterday I did see snow on the mountain at a green house in our neighborhood, but didn't buy it. I was waiting to see what was said here today.
Thank you so much, you guys are great.

Now I can move on to the rest of my yard.
When I moved in here I was so overwhelmed.
There is stuff growing all over & I don't know what half of it is, so I don't know how to prune it or care for it. [nutz]
I'm not really sure if some of the stuff isn't really weeds. He He [Big Grin]
So I will be back with more pictures of mystery plants. I love this site.
