I have this plant that everyone mistakenly calls lambs ear. I know it is not but I don't know what it is called. It does have foliage like lambs ear, very soft and furry, light sage green and it flowers from mid-summer to fall, pink flowers.
Here's the plant itself, keep in mind I just took these pics and the plant is almost done for now with the cold weather:
and these are the babies that sprout up everywhere, takes a year or two before they flower:
* * * * I love the sweet scents wafting in the breeze. I stop to admire the vibrant colors of all living things. And people think me odd. Then ODD I am!!!

Yes,that is the latin name for lambs ear, but that is not the plant that I have. The flowers I have are single and not at all spiky or clustered.

Ahhhhhhhh, that's it exactly, guest!! Thank you so much! I kept thinking it was Lychris or something like that , but it was LYCHNIS I was off just enough not to be able to find it .
Identifying this plant was so very important to me since I've collected a ton of the seeds to be used for seed packets to be given out as favors at my daughter's wedding!
