Nah, I don't think it's those.. I've had the daisy fleabane here, and know what that one looks like. This is more.. I don't know.. shrub like? Well, not exactly shrubby, but it's many branches, and many flowers, and the fleabane I've had are more like single stemmed. This is before it had flowers...
bbbbbbbbb I love the sweet scents wafting in the breeze. I stop to admire the vibrant colors of all living things. And people think me odd. Then ODD I am!!!

Cool, Thanks Meg.. **Don't think I would have looked under "Scraggley lookin' things"
That was my guess was the Aster family..
The one thing with those plants that disappoint me every year is...... they get so tall, and pretty fill out nicely, then when we start getting some rain, and some wind, they flatten right out.. and fall over.. Every year I say, I'm going to get something to prop them up, or start pinching them and never get around to doing it...
Mine are flat out on the ground, growing side shoots now...

um, I let mine go.. I love Asters, but I live in the country where I can get away with it more easily..
But I tell you, there's a great little plant. NO watering or care for them nessessary once you find them.. and they add color in the months when ther'es not much left...
