my parents recently got a divorce, and I had to put all my plants in dark, no good places!! I have managed to get the other plants snapped out of it, but my lipstick plant(the first pant I ever had) has leaves that are turning more and more pale, there is another shoot on it, but still, is there anything I may not have done that could help??

Pale leaves are often indicative of inadequate light. Try relocating the plant where it will receive bright indirect light.
