Here is a picture of one of our cement container gardens out in front of the bus station. I'm really pleased with it so far.

Larkspur, Cleome, desert honeysuckle, petunias, cardinal climbing vine, marigolds. I expect I probably over filled it. I always do lol.

thats great Tammy, have you thoight of approaching other places to see if they would be interested in your services? The reason i ask is there is a local woman whoi does this as a profession, she looks after all the planters in our town and decoartes them seasonally, you love to garden and plant, so who knows?

I think I would need way more experience than I do before I started something like that. It would be a great way to suplement my income that's for sure.

But I still don't know enough about plants to be able to do that. Last year I put canna in the container. I hadn't realized just how big or how much they multiple in one year lol.

she had zero experience and they pay her for it, now she does all the hanging baskets, pots, containers, and gets a pretty penny for it, all she did was approach a business down towm about doing there flower box on the front of their store for a small fee and it went from there, she started out with nothing and a few basic plants and now does well. Are there any places like that you could approach, although the bus stop is a good start, keep adding to it and hopefully the right person will see it, dont worry about the experience part.

lol there are frequently both in there. Every morning I go out and take out any decorations added by bus station customers. The saddest thing about that is there is a trash can tied to the second container. At most an arms reach away.

How is your sign writing/painting skills Tammy???
You need to get something like pine pieces' or some balsam wood,
*I dunno [dunno] , I'm not a sign maker*
but some wood, and cute little quips like,
"Don't put your butt in my PANSY's" or
"Please don't PULL THE DAISY's" or
*I've worked hard to grow*
~you know what that's like~
something..I dunno???
*Maybe Cindy the sign maker there could give you some ideas
[thinker] [critic] [lala]
But just maybe, I did say MAYBE, it might deterr them *or at least one person* from distorying your garden stuff...

TK, you should think about the planting thing. I know a lady who started by planting small pansy beds in a few neighbors yards. Now she has so many people calling she can't get it done. She plants and maintains the beds.

see, another who thinks you should do it, it would be great for you and you love this type of thing, put up posters and signs, and see where it goes from there, that is if you want to do it, good luck
